  • An original, inventive, stylish and charming short film, from two brothers who are perfectly placed to enter longer form storytelling, and make their first feature film.

    -- John Shackleton (Movie Mogul)

  • A quirky horror-fantasy and perhaps one of the most original concepts submitted. There is some real talent behind this and these guys could deliver an amazing final film.

    -- Stewart Bridle (Horror Channel)

JUDGES' COMMENTS:

  • This short demonstrates huge potential, taking us on a dark, original and terrifying journey into an alien world familiar to so many of us.

    --John Shackleton (Movie Mogul)

  • I was impressed with the sense of unease that the film-maker was able to convey in the sparse 3 minute submission. It left me intrigued as to where the story would lead and I cannot wait to see the finished feature. I loved the use of music and I think he managed to capture on camera something unique and unusual.

    -- Paul McEvoy (Frightfest)

3rd Place: GEOFFREY'S HEART by Stanislava Buevich

Or has something gone very very wrong....

JUDGES' COMMENTS:

  • Here is an original feature film idea which is tonally not a million miles away from LET THE RIGHT ONE IN, from a storyteller who really has something to say.

    --John Shackleton (Movie Mogul)

  • A dark tale which can be developed into a story of just how far a mother would go for the love and protection of her son. The filmmaker has a clear idea of the disturbing places this movie would take the viewer.

    -- Stewart Bridle (Horror Channel)
